Russia: CCTV captures moment boy sends little brother down an escalator in shopping cart

Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a case into child neglect after a young boy sent his little brother down an escalator in a shopping trolley in Nyagan’s on November 12.

CCTV footage captured the moment the boy pushes the trolley to the edge of a descending escalator. Seconds later the cart with the little boy inside is seen flying down, flipping over and eventually crashing.

According to an eyewitness, the boy was bleeding badly and lost consciousness before ambulance arrived at the scene.

Police is looking into the accident. If found guilty of child neglect, the parents could face criminal charges for leaving the kids unattended.
