Ed Sheeran announces a brand new single but says it will be the last one for a while.
It’s a good news, bad news situation. The good news is that Ed Sheeran revealed that he is dropping some new music with an electro band called Rudimentary out of the UK. He wrote on Twitter to announce it saying
“I have a brand new single coming out tonight with @RudimentalUk on iTunes and all of that, I really like it, hope you do too”
Exciting, right? The more Ed Sheeran music out in the world, the better! But here’s the bad news…Ed also tweeted QUOTE“That’s the last song il be releasing for a long time, , hope you like it”
Although it’s going to be his last musical release for a while, Ed will be working on cultivating his artistry by going to Africa to work on some new sounds. In his recent interview with Rolling Stone he said
“I know a load of Ghanaian musicians in London, and they've always told me to go over there. I feel like I'd go there and be revitalized…Our music industry is really cutthroat and people trying to climb on top of each other to get to the top. They just do it to create music because they love it.”

If you remember, Ed took a significant amount fo time in between his first and second album release as well. It only heightened the suspense and excitement so I’m guessing it will be the same for the third album.
And I can’t leave you with the bad, so how about some more good news? Ed created a snapchat account, so you can keep up with him during his break. And if you are familiar with Mr. Sheeran, you know how entertaining that must be.
